Launceston Race 2 (1400m) - Wed 17th Oct 2018

Launceston - TAS:

Overcast
Track Condition: Soft (5)

Race 2
(7:10 PM)
GREAT NORTHERN SUPER CRISP-C1 (1400m)
(Final) Closed

Race Comments:
AMERICAN SUNDAY was narrowly beaten as a favourite last start at Launceston on a soft track when fresh and expected to settle off the speed, major contender. GEE GEES CRICKET chased well to fall just short last start at Launceston. Looks the leader and will take plenty of catching, place only. SUDDEN SHOCK drawn perfectly and placed when fresh, quinella. BUNKER STAR should look to roll forward in a race without much early pace, place hope.

Just missed when heavily backed last start at Launceston on a soft track when resuming. Sigrid Carr and Scott Brunton are a proven combination. Ran third at Casterton when last second-up. Leading chance.
