Launceston Race 9 (1400m) - Wed 20th Mar 2019

Launceston - TAS:

Fine
Track Condition: Soft (5)

Race 9
(10:30 PM)
NIGHTLY NEWS - 7 TAS. HCP (C1) (1400m)
(Final) Closed

Race Comments:
Appears only three winning chances. CARMINA finished strongly to end up midfield last start at Launceston when fresh and won at the track in only second-up attempt, a close top pick. SWING IT SISTER has two placings from five runs this prep and returns to shorter trip, can figure. BORDER PROTECTION has placed twice at Launceston before and has two placings from five runs this prep, if in the finish no surprise. DIESEL DAN gave nothing else a chance to win last start to break maiden at Launceston and winner at the track before, not without each-way claims.
